It is possible to perform the eyelid aesthetic procedure, known as blepharoplasty, through surgery. However, for patients who do not wish to undergo surgery or in cases where the amount of sagging tissue is relatively minimal, we can apply Plexr non-surgical eyelid aesthetics to the upper and lower eyelids using plasma energy.
What Is Plexr?
Plexr is a procedure that uses plasma energy as an alternative to eyelid surgery. It works by generating the fourth state of matter—plasma—in the targeted tissue, causing a transition from solid to gas. This results in skin tightening and contraction. Consequently, sagging skin becomes firmer and appears more refreshed and rejuvenated.
Which Areas Can Plexr Be Applied To?
-
Excess skin on the upper and lower eyelids
-
Wrinkles around the eyes (crow’s feet)
-
Small raised skin lesions to remove them from the surface
How Long Does the Plexr Procedure Take? What Is the Recovery Process Like?
After cleansing the treatment area and applying anesthetic creams, the procedure typically lasts around 30–45 minutes, depending on the size of the area being treated. Following the procedure, scabbing occurs in the treated areas and usually lasts for about one week, after which the scabs begin to fall off naturally.
